Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Sorter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately sorting and storing items, ensuring they are ready for delivery, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. They will work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals and comply with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read work orders to determine which item to sort into the designated storage area

  • Pick up correct items by comparing work orders against item and batch numbers

  • Physically move or transport items to the designated loading area

  • Report any item damage to the warehouse supervisor.

  • Label items with correct information according to set instructions

  • Move items to delivery pallets and assist loaders with stacking items

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify the information to ensure stock goes to the correct inventory area

  • Pack and stack stored items according to OSHA standards and company safety policies

Key Skills
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Forklift license

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience stocking or sorting products in a warehouse environment, supermarket, or similar field

  • Proficient in stock management and storage processes

  • Good understanding of OSHA standards and company safety protocols

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Strong manual dexterity and the ability to perform physical tasks, such as bending, lifting, carrying, and pushing

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle adverse situations and thrive in a fast-paced environment
